The prices aren't balanced at all yet, so you can build pretty ridicoulusly OP ships.ДЇor technical reasons, you have no sector choice on the first jump. This is done as a workaround for a problem with infinite dialogue loops. You jump to a new starting beacon after each purchase, but no matter how many purchases you make, you still start in sector 1. You can now find the crystal homeworlds as a normal sector, but without the unlock (only via the old quest-chain). You also no longer start in the Crystal Homeworlds, but in a normal civilian sector.
